The Fondy Food Pantry Board of Directors has named Ellen Simon as the Executive Director of the Fondy Food Pantry.
Ellen brings a unique blend of leadership, relationship-building, and operational expertise to her role at the Fondy Food Pantry. With a background spanning sales, education, and business management, Ellen is passionate about fostering collaboration, building strong partnerships, and creating positive change in her community.
As the owner of LNS Sales LLC, Ellen developed a keen sense for financial oversight, vendor relationships, and strategic planning. Her experience as a private music instructor reflects her dedication to nurturing growth, building connections, and creating supportive environments. Beyond her professional roles, Ellen’s volunteer work with Radiant Light Zen and Unity Hospice highlights her deep commitment to serving others with compassion and care.
A native of Johnsburg, WI, just 15 miles north of Fond du Lac, Ellen feels a strong connection to the local community. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and a Master of Music from Arizona State University. Outside of her professional and volunteer work, Ellen enjoys performing music, traveling, hiking, practicing mindfulness, and spending time in nature.
